Overview of installation

The flexible warehouse partition walls can be supported from our galvanized stainless steel industrial curtain tracks. These curtain tracks feature nylon or steel roller curtain hooks which allow the operator to walk the partition from one side to the other.  This allows for open access when needed or to move product from one side to the other.

Another option for installation is a fixed position install. The flexible warehouse partition has grommets included on 12 inch centers located at the top of the curtain.  These grommets can then be zip tied to any structure which is located above the curtain.

Types of Heavy Duty Curtains There are many different applications which require different types of materials. As a result, most installations are custom made per our customers specifications. They can be grouped in the following categories   Heavy Duty Curtain Walls  These curtains are generally about 10’ tall x 60’ long but can be longer or shorter in any dimension. They separate space, work processes, contain sparks, odors, dust or increase privacy. Heavy Duty Warehouse Curtains  These curtains can be hundreds of feet long and close off portions of a warehouse which is either no longer used. Heavy Duty Insulated Curtains A type of curtain which has insulation wedged between the vinyl and are used to form temperature zones. These can be large insulated warehouse curtains or smaller freezer curtains.   All of these curtains come with heavy duty curtain tracks as well. These tracks allow the curtains to roll side-to-side. There are also free standing tracks available as well. These require no support from above and are simply rest on the floor. Insulated Curtain Overview There are several types of insulated curtains which can be used based on your requirements for your application. The key difference in the materials is the thickness, which is relative to the R-Value. The higher the R-Value, the thicker the material will be.  It is also good to note that the thicker the installation,the less flexible the curtain will be for side to side movement.
Common Applications One common application is insulated warehouse Curtains.  This style of curtain comes in panels which are approximately 60 inches in length and run all away from the floor to ceiling.  This type of insulated curtain enclosure is commonly used to separate warehouse space to reduce heating and cooling bills.  These can also be used in very large cold storage coolers and can even have strip doors added which allow access from one side to the other for forklifts and operators.
Another common application is for smaller enclosures which surround the work process or a machine.  This type of insulated curtain enclosure usually features a door for access and some viewing windows to allow light into the enclosure. his can be a completely freestanding structure or can be supported from above with a rooftop.
