AKON's outdoor retractable curtains keep your products, workers, and operations safe from wind, rain, and weather. We offer outdoor curtains in two materials, Vinyl and Fabric. Vinyl is strong and fully waterproof, great for blocking wind and rain. Fabric works well when you want shade and some airflow.
Both are easy to install and don’t need special tools. You can keep them fixed in place or set them up to slide open and closed using curtain tracks. These curtains are a simple way to protect outdoor spaces without building permanent walls

Waterproof Outdoor Curtains
Choosing the Right Material
You've got two solid choices when it comes to outdoor curtains here. The 600D polyester ones feel just like regular fabric, but they actually repel water pretty well. Some customers leave these out in storms for half a day without any water getting through. Since they're man-made material, rain won't rot them or anything, and they look nice on patios or anywhere you've got some roof coverage.
Now, if you need something completely waterproof, you'll want to go with our 18oz reinforced vinyl curtains. These things are built to last and can handle whatever weather you throw at them. The vinyl surface wipes down easily, and because it's so smooth, you won't have issues with mold or mildew like you sometimes get with fabric options. We can make these vinyl curtains either clear with PVC panels or completely opaque if you want more privacy.

Industrial grade 18oz opaque vinyl ideal for moderate temperature control. The shade can be all opaque or feature a clear vision panel. $$
Clear Vinyl
Industrial grade 30mil clear vinyl is ideal for moderate temperature control and for allowing a line of sight into the warehouse. $$
Insulated Vinyl
Industrial R3 1/2" thick material with 18oz vinyl skins ideal for heavy temperature control and blocking line of sight into the warehouse. $$
Mesh Vinyl
Industrial grade mesh vinyl allows the breeze to come into the warehouse while keeping the insects outside and away. $
Polyester
Commercial-grade fabric that works indoors or out, blocks 85% of sun, resists water and tearing, and comes with fire retardant treatment plus reinforced hems for durability. $
Cover Large Outdoor Openings
Large Outdoor Curtains
For applications where large coverage is required. Akon can supply you with large outdoor retractable curtains, which can cover the sides of entire buildings. We will choose a material that is ideal for your application and that will ensure that you and your internal environments are protected from the elements. These industrial outdoor curtains are constructed of the same heavy-duty vinyl.
Vinyl Material
Unlike indoor industrial curtain walls, outdoor retractable curtain walls are exposed to wind, cold, rain, and UV light from the sun. This requires the vinyl material to be at least an 18oz or 22oz coated vinyl. It is important that the material is a coated vinyl because laminates, when exposed to the cold, can experience cold crack. We can also provide insulated outdoor curtains for maintaining temperatures inside of your facility.
