Folding Options

The strip doors can be opened and closed in one of three ways. Simply choose the version that works best for your application.

• Bi-Parting - The PVC strips move to the left and right
• Single To Right - The PVC strips move to the right
• Single To Left - The PVC strips move to the right

Mounting Options

The strip doors can be mounted in one of three ways based on your wall configuration.

• Stand Off - Mounted away from the wall
• Header - Mounted inside of the door jamb
• Wall Face - Mounted to face of wall

Limitations

• Single sided and Bi-parting doors max size: 16’ Wide x 20’ High
• Single sided and Bi-parting doors min size: 8' Wide x 8' High
• Strips must be 12" Wide | Ribbed
• Strip overlap must be 67%

Additional Measurements

• Retracted width may take up to 20% of the total width of the opening.
• If bi-parting, each side would have 10%.
• Arm / Projection would measure 20"

PVC Strips and Hardware

The PVC Strips are 12" wide with a 67% overlap. The strips are completely clear to insure proper safety for traffic coming both ways. The PVC meets all fire codes for fire retardant material. They can also be easily replaced should they become damaged. Each custom accordion strip door is designed for years of use. The mounting hardware is fabricated from galvanized steel which will endure the elements and provide a long life of use.

Hole Spacing

If no hardware is needed and you want just the strips then select no hardware from the fill in form. You will get just the strips with holes punched every 2" (see example of 8" wide strip below). This allows the strips to fit the vast majority of strip curtain hardware on the market.

Hole Spacing

The pvc strip curtains come with holes punched every 2" (see example of 8" wide strip below). This allows the strips to fit the vast majority of strip curtain hardware on the market. Please note that you can also purchase the strips without any mounting holes. Some customers choose to use their own hardware and punch their own mounting holes onsite. Loop style is also available for mounting to bars and tubes. If you want just the strips then on this form select "no hardware."

Manual Operation

Simply pull lightly on the cord to open and close the plastic accordion strip doors. The cord is located on the far right or far left of the door. Choosing manual operation is ideal for infrequent opening and closing. There is no need to spend additional money for a motorized strip door when traffic is anticipated to be very light.

What is the spacing on the holes for the strips?

• The holes are on 2" centers as shown below. The below strip is an 8" wide strip but all of the strips have the same spacing so that the strips fit studded hardware systems.

Should I order the strips a little taller than the opening?

• Only if you are wanting the wall mount hardware. With wall mount hardware order the strips 6" taller and 6" wider than the opening you are trying to cover since you are mounting to the face of the opening. Otherwise order the strips to the exact size of the opening.

Are the height of the strips measured from the hole or the top of the strip?

• The height is measured from the top of the strip to the bottom of the strip. The holes are located .75" down from the top of the strip.

How do you cut the strips in the field?

• You use a utility knife and a straight edge to keep the cut straight.

Are the strips ready to hang and already punched?

• Yes the strips are shipped out and ready to be hung right out of the box.
