I have a roughly 10x13 pergola by Yardistry, and I want to add a mosquito screen. I also have a bird problem, as the birds keep trying to get into the pergola, so I need something that will keep both mosquitoes and birds out.
Solution
Heavy-duty mesh curtains would be perfect for enclosing your 10x13 pergola and handling both the mosquito and bird issues. These curtains create a barrier against birds and efficiently block even the smallest insects, including mosquitoes, using their thin mesh. Long-lasting protection is ensured by the mesh's robustness enough to resist outdoor conditions and regular interaction with wildlife.
Custom-fitting these mesh drapes to your pergola will create a tight seal that stops bird and mosquito entrance. Easy access is maintained a safe enclosure by installing the curtains with zippers or magnetic closures. This arrangement will let you enjoy your pergola area free from the bother caused by birds or insect annoyance. The mesh also facilitates ventilation, so you may enjoy fresh air without sacrificing protection, therefore enhancing the comfort and usability of your outdoor area all year long.

"Hi! I have a quick question. I’m interested in ordering custom mosquito mesh netting for our pergola and was curious about adding pockets along the bottom. I’m considering using the pockets to add weight and was wondering if you have any recommendations on what to put inside them, such as conduit, chain, etc. Have other customers used the pockets along the bottom for this purpose?"
Solution
Particularly in breezy situations, putting pockets along the bottom of your custom mosquito mesh netting is a sensible approach to hold the netting firmly in place. Usually utilized for weight, these pockets help to guarantee the nett stays taut and reduces movement that would allow mosquitoes or other insects to enter.
Excellent possibilities for weight addition are both conduit and chain. Though lightweight, conduit is strong enough to give enough support without making the netting very difficult to handle. It also keeps a straight line, which keeps the nett orderly aligned. Conversely, a chain gives more adaptability and may curve to uneven terrain, therefore fitting against the ground or decking.
Particularly in outdoor environments where the ground might not be exactly level, many consumers choose employing chain due of its adaptability and simplicity of installation. The extra weight from either choice will enable the netting to retain its form and place, so improving its efficiency in keeping your pergola free from mosquitoes and in resisting wind and other external factors.

Looking to add a budget friendly insect screen option to my back porch. Roughly 12x22, 2 sides at 12’ and long end open to balcony is 22’.
I like the idea of not needing the screens all the time and could have curtains on tracks but installing with switch locks and grommets works too I guess. I do have dogs so it would have to heavy duty. We like the view out the back so being able to remove or pull back when not needed would be ideal. We have a metal gazebo at another house and those screens on tracks seem to be the direction that could work for us, rather than me building fixed screens with frames. I see you have a mesh material. Is that considered mosquito screening? Also see tracks but not seeing something that can be mounted on the side of a wood beam. Are they all bottom mount? I guess I could add a wood valance board to help cover that top gap in the screen. Just trying to get a good understanding and and plan. Email is the best media for me text is fine as well.
Solution
Our mosquito curtains offer protection against insects while allowing and light to pass through. It can be versatile, letting you mount it on a curtain track through grommets and put twist locks on the sides to lock it in place. We can also use it as valance and follow the shape of the roof.

I have a sunny side of the barn that gets quite warm and also want to keep insects out. The horses live in come and go stalls that have four foot x 8' doors. What color do you recommend? The barn is grey
Solution
Grey Color is usually better for barn as it is not as "dirt magnet" as other Colors.
Nevertheless, should you choose to go with a different color, we offer a variety colors for both vinyl and mesh curtains. You can check them here: https://www.curtain-and-divider.com/knowledge-base/color-options/
