How Drape Works
Breakdown of Fullness Options for Dividers
100% Fullness (2.0x Multiplier)
- What it means: You use twice as much fabric width as the actual width of the space or track.
- Look and feel: Creates soft, rich, and classic folds.
- Best for: Standard home dividers where privacy and sound/light muffling are desired from both sides.
50% Fullness (1.5x Multiplier)
- What it means: You use 1.5 times the fabric width of your space or track.
- Look and feel: A lighter, more streamlined, and semi-tailored look.
- Best for: Modern or tight spaces, lightweight materials, or budget-focused projects where heavy folds are not needed.
25% Fullness (1.25x Multiplier)
- What it means: You use only 1.25 times the space or track width in fabric.
- Look and feel: Very minimal, nearly flat, with barely any wave or ripple.
- Best for: Purely architectural or utilitarian panels where you want the fabric to pull completely flat like a screen, though it can look skimpy if gathered.
How To Measure
Width
Measure the distance you want to cover...
- Then input that dimension into the width box
Height
Measure the distance from the floor to the mounting point...
- Then subtract 1″ to account for the hardware to keep the curtain resting a few inches on the floor
- If no hardware is needed then you do not need to subtract 1″
Note
- After you place your order you will get a detailed order confirmation for you to approve and our experts will review it for accuracy
