More Information On Solid Curtain Walls

OVERVIEW
Akon offers a wide selection of industrial vinyl curtains that can be used to separate space in your facility or to partition off areas for work processes. These industrial curtains can be supplied to any length and width along with several selections of material types. Installation of the curtains is also very simple.
A typical industrial vinyl curtain has grommets placed at the top every 12 inches. If you choose to purchase the curtain without the curtain track, then you can use zip ties or cables to tie the curtain to a steel beam or even run a cable through the grommets from one end to the other. Only basic tools are required to complete the installation.

Types of industrial vinyl curtains
Based on your application, we can help you select the correct vinyl curtain for your industrial application. Here are just some of the different types of curtains that we provide.
Industrial curtain track
Each curtain can come with a roller track assembly which allows the industrial vinyl curtain to slide both forward and backwards. With the use of this curtain track hardware you can quickly gain access to one side of the curtains to the other side. For applications where the vinyl curtain does not need to slide, a fixed track can be provided which will hold the curtain in a stationary position.
Color selection
There are many colors to choose from based on your preference. These colors range from black, blue, red, white, gray or even clear for a see-through curtain. You can also choose a solid top and bottom material with a clear vision panel which is located in the middle of the curtain to allow your associates to see through.
Vinyl curtain features
There are many features which can be added to the industrial curtains to suit your application. Some of the more common features are:
- Floor sweeps – these cover the gap between the curtain and the floor
- Extra grommets – these can be added for additional tie downs
- Curtain valance – covers up the space between the track and the curtain
- Strip doors – allow forklifts or people to pass through
- Insulation – this allows for temperature separation
